The Stanley Kubrick Archives

This is the final resting place of the Stanley Kubrick Archives, housed at the University of the Arts, London, UK. The entrance is on the main road, north of the Metropolitan Tabernacle and situated behind it.

The archives, originally occupying around 1000 boxes at the Kubrick estate is now housed in a climate controlled room within a computerized storage system. On each of the meter deep racks are labels pertaining to one of his films. Comparisons to HAL's brain room, in terms of clinical, methodically assembled working environment, would not be unreasonable.
