Greetings!
The HAWK site you have marked in BAMBERG (49-55' 23.58 N 10-55' 17.29 O) is the "old" C-3/7 site. The "new" site is the one located at 50-01'47.92N 11-03'25.65 O. Some time in the 1990's it became D-36 ADA. Later, the site was sold or given to the Catholic Church. It was at first a Monastery, but that did not work out. It seems as though there is a shortage of Monks. Now the site is a "Rest and Recooperation" site for the Catholic Church. Several Nuns live there and where the ROR used to be, they have built a chapel. The moter pool building burned down, set on fire by German vandels. The Maintenance building has been added onto the back side. I stop up there several times a year with my motorcycle and talk with the nuns. The "old" site became a training area that is not used much anymore.
Take care all, and have a nice X-mass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Spit, today I am browsing google earth for HAWK Sites. I found out, that your placemark of HAWK Battry Delmenhorst seems to be wrong. The only way i can imagine this location, is a former NIKE Site. I will try to find all locations of SAM WING 35.

I was stationed here in Butzweiler from June 80-83 and it was one of my best duty stations in my 20 years in the Army. You can see the barracks to the left of the site. The brown square was the basketball/tennis court. The small building at the 10 oclock position with the white roof was the raquetball court. The big building was the three story barracks with a suana and weight room in it.

The IHAWK (former Nike-Hercules) site listed as Brimingen is actually in Hisel. I was stationed in that Battalion (2d Battalion, 62d Air Defense Artillery) from 79-81.

Yow! What a piece of work! I have been enjoying wandering around Google Earth for a while now, and with a little research, have been able to locate the kaserne I was stationed at from 1969-1971. I was pretty proud of myself, and having found this forum am indeed humbled by the extensive work! You actually have the tac site location for B Btry, 6th MSL Bn, 60th Arty. Thank you. (Your label: Hawk Btry-Regensburg) The rear area was named Pioneer Kaserne (a converted german military base) in Regensburg, Germany. (49-00-18.09 N, 12-07-21.51 E).

There is a mistake... 25917 Leck is not a HAWK site... since 2005 it is a PATRIOT site... you should correct the entry on the map of google map
54°47'25.91"N 8°57'20.55"O is the location
Barnstorf Patriot Btry moved from 52°43'03.72"N/8°39'49.59"O to the upper location
Barnstorf is no more
trust me, i'm working on it

Hello spitfirexyz
Your placemark at the hawk site Klein Süntel near Bad Münder is named Laatzen in your first placemark and Hawk btry - Laatzen in your second placemark.
Both placemarks are wrong.
Regards, Felippo

Mayor Walczer is probably referring to the dismissed Hawk site of San Rocco di Longare at 45°28'23.24"N 11°35'29.60"E. Back in the days it was the TAC site of the 8 btry - 5rgt 2Grp of the Italian Army. Grazie Sindaco, thanks for the info.
@ Felippo, Jazzro1979, CaptSquid etc. the collection needs some cleaning up and maintenance work. I'll update it with your info as soon as possible
