Google Earth Community: DUMB!!!!

I have been using GE on this computer for about 12 months now and I have had an Intermittant problem whereby sometimes I could not use the "Fly To" facility.
Everything else worked all the time, i was able to plan trips, search Google, send and receive email and use All the facilities on this computer except for the occasional problem with "Fly To".
I was getting a window telling me that I had a network problem please try again.
I have nearly driven my ISP mad (and anyone else who will listen), it has not done a lot for my fast receding hairline either, anyway I have today pulled out that conglomeration of cables down there and found that the modem was connected to the Phone outlet of the inline filter instead of the ADSL outlet.
I can now "Fly To" anywhere I like!!!
This will not help too many people out there but it is interesting that the only problem I had because of my BooBoo was the 'Fly To" problem.
