Photoshopped Wood?

I came to this via OgleEarth blog. Itīs a very strange area in Holland that seems to be "photoshopped"...

EDIT:
In Virtual Earth looks normal.

I can't think of any reason for any photoshopping here. The providers are different and the time of year is different, though the time of day is about the same. GE looks like winter or spring - notice the length of the tree shadows when comparing between the two. The pond is much fuller in the Google image, and looking low and dry in the summer image.

But it does look like the same tree cluster has been cloned for sure and reappears again and again within the red boundaries you have created. Go figure. But the photoshopping was almost certainly done by the provider.

As joachim3050 noticed, it seems to have been fixed now in GE at least, or at least done more subtly! Google Maps still has the old imagery, but that will probably be updated soon.
