When I click on a link that I find under a place mark to find out more, nothing happens, i dont move and no postings come up. Do I have to change a setting or something.

Doesnt any IE or other browser window initialize or go to that link? You may miss since mostly GE remains focused (but, on the background, the pages in the browser are changing).

Nope when I click on a link all it does is highlight the word im clicking on

Very strange. Is it also the case with links on normal web pages? Sometimes mouses do such things (when I faced such a thing first in my life, I couldnt find the reason and was kicking my table  ).

Every other link works just GE has the problem

Is the link "to find out more" or something like that? If it is, it is an old GE version, I think. There are only:
1. The name of the placemark
2. "Posted by..." line
3. "Click here for the post" line
4. Definition area of the poster
5. "Directions: To here - From here" line
Any other link or part should not be there in the latest version. If the other links (for example, "the link of the poster's name) work, it is the former version of you.
If you have the latest version (3.0.0762), it seems that I dont know anything about your problem.

Its the latest version mate, dont know whats going on. Im going to remove from my PC then download it again to see if that works

I am also having to same issue. I am using IE7 and the latest version of GE. I click on a KML link and nothing happens.

Hmmm, that's interesting. That happens when I use my dad's computer, but mine works perfectly. I have tried a few things (I don't know too many things to try!), but nothing solves the problem. On his, I cannot do either: click a link in a forum to get to GE, or click the placemark balloon to get to the post. This started happening suddenly, about a month ago. It seems like something needs fixing, somwhere...
