Bor Wildlife Sanctuary

Bor Wildlife Sanctuary is located partly in Wardha district and partly in Nagpur district of Maharashtra. It covers an area of 61.10 sq km. The sanctuary is covered with southern mixed dry deciduous forest. The sanctuary is home to a few tigers, leopards and other herbivioura. Blue Bull is found in plenty, with sometime in herd of 10+ individuals.Apart from the forest, there is huge lake which is visited by quite a few migratory birds. There is a beautiful buddhist stupa next to the lake which is a must see.More infomration can be availed from Nagpur Forest Department office.
