Totladoh DamTotladoh dam was built between 1975 and 1985 on the Pench river near Madhya Pradesh's border with western Maharashtra. The dam lies within the Pench National Park and has been a hub of ilegal fishing activities for quite sometime.

Pench National Park is a park that is located on the border of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, and just about 70 kilometers from Nagpur. It was named after a river which runs nearby. It was also declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1983, and is the 25th Tiger Reserve in the country of India. There is also a lot more wildlife that can be found in Pench National Park, aside from its tigers.

I wonder why the governemtn always plans these mega projects right inside a National Park. Or maybe is thats usually the idea spot..why do they fail to realise the importance for Jungles.
