Yas and No.
I meant animals (difficult) or animal herds (giraffe, elephant, gnu ...) but not airplane pictures.

Wonderful isn't it, but I can't lay claim to it - its the National Geographic layer. There are about 500 of these high-res photos dotted around Africa and fully integrated into Google Earth. Turn on the National Geographic Layer to pinpoint where they are.

I suspect this isn't quite what you meant either, but here are a couple of giraffes in LA Zoo. (Actually this is also an aerial photo too rather than a satellite image).

Heres a shot of London zoo giraffe enclosure which is a satellite image. Now there's no way that you could identify the blobs as giraffe, but they are the same size as the giraffes in LA.

I doubt that any animal could be positively identified from space at this resolution, and the chance of higher resolution shots of the African plains being published is not likely

Bravo for the location.
I know that It is impossible to identify animals from space at this resolution
But I think It's possible to locate animal herds inAfrica.
I keep searching
