So far:
ISS, HUBBLE, ITAMSAT, LUSAT, NOAA*, OSCAR*, PACSAT, PCSAT and RS-20
Soon to come frequency / status information for amateur radio satellites. Gonna try and add all amateur radio satellites I can find data for.
Weill probably add the SUN and MOON eventually.
Earth kinda looks like a large ball of string.
UPDATE:
For those of you who remember this thread and the original KML/KMZ files I came out with, and for those who've never heard of our Google Earth Satellite tracking interface I'm re-introducing our files to the group.
I've created a new KML interface to display live satellite data (including live position reports refreshing every 60 seconds) which is a significant improvement from our previous interface which only provided a snapshot every hour. This also includes orbital paths, actual pictures of the satellite (if available) and any data I could find on it.
Our new KML files can be accessed a few different ways:
1. Point your web browser at: http://www.openaprs.net/satellites.html and once loaded click [google earth: satellites] which will appear right below the right hand input box and Go botton.
-OR-
2. Point your web browser at: http://www.openaprs.net/engine/satellites/
You also have the option of finding a single satellite if you know the name:
http://www.openaprs.net/engine/satellites/<NAME> Example: http://www.openaprs.net/engine/satellites/ISS
If you'd like dates and times displayed in your timezone you can use this format:
http://www.openaprs.net/engine/satellites/<TIMEZONE>/ http://www.openaprs.net/engine/satellites/<TIMEZONE>/<NAME>
Example: http://www.openaprs.net/engine/satellites/America/Los_Angeles/ Example: http://www.openaprs.net/engine/satellites/America/Los_Angeles/ISS
Timezones supported may be found at http://www.openaprs.net/timezones.html
The orbits are calculated using current keplerian data sheets which are updated every day or so.
In tracking mode GE will actually scroll with the satellite as it moves per refresh update.

Pretty Cool -
Not that I have any idea what most of it means -- but I like the fact I can see where they are and the orbit ...
Nice Job

Can you add a data link to each placemark? For instance, link Oscar 50 to: http://www.amsat.org/amsat/sats/n7hpr/so50.html or whatever the source for your GPS data...

That is in the works along with displaying the Sat's info in the bubble... We're still working out details and adding the sun and moons orbit.

Might also note that we have put up the ability for users inside of Google Earth to post comments or chat regarding each individual satellite. Click the satellite or find it in the drop down under my places to bring up the information bubble then hit the "Post a Comment", when the .kmz refreshes your comment will show up under that satellite's information bubble.
Should be pretty handy for amateur operaters to share there satellite experiences with one another or post bleeding edge news on a satellite.
Cheers,
Greg
