This house in Canoga Park, CA served as Stacy & Brad's home in Fast Times in Ridgmont High. You 30 something males will probably remember the scene that was shot at the pool. The pool is very visible in this link

The entire movie "Shallow Hal" was filmed in various locations around Charlotte, NC, but there is one scene I'm partial to - when Jason Alexander shakes Anthony Robbins' "huge" hand beside Anthony's limo, they are doing so in this spot that I can gaze upon from my office window.

One famous location is at Zabriskie Point near Death Valley. You can read about the place here.
Both Pink Floyd and The Grateful Dead contributed to the soundtrack. Some of the stuff from Pink Floyd was used on Dark Side of the Moon.
Zabriskie Point is an Antonioni movie from 1970. You can read about it here

This is the old Durham baseball park, where the ballpark scenes for the movie "Bull Durham" were shot. Check out the training tower for firefighters scross the road to the west.
The new Durham baseball park is a short distance to the south. See if you can spot the Mercury Redstone rocket and the DC-3 at the museum a couple of miles north.
