The Eagle has landed.
The Bald Eagle was placed on the endangered species list back in 1967, but is making a come back. This site is a live web cam of an Eagles nest in Quabbin Reservior Massachusetts.
'The eagles have begun incubation as their first egg was laid on Thursday, March 3rd around 5pm. A second egg may be produced on Saturday and a third egg is possible after a similar interval.' As of March 07, still only one egg.
More info on the Bald Eagle
**edited** seemed to be a problem with the first image
**edited again** added eagle cam image

Good site MacRane Further research that had me going around in circles for a while seems to indicate that the nest being videoed is on Barton Island in the Connecticut River, near the town of Turner's Falls. This links back to the web site you linked to. Attachment shows the location. BTW, I just finished linking to one about a peregrine cam under current events. Peculiar that two such possible links came up on the same night. A different kind of eagle cam in Scotland. Great videos from a Golden Eagle in flight. Here's a photo from the ground of a Connecticut River Osprey nest .

Hill, Good catch on the location of the Eagle Cam. It's not in the Quabbin Reservoir as I stated, It is on the Connecticut River in Turner's Falls as you stated. (looks like I better start using the compass Lrae sent me)

Nothing to about. The sources are conflicting , and it took much more time that I was originally intending to spend to sleuth out the location.

Could be a tough day and night for the Eagles and their egg. Started snowing today about 1:00 (Tuesday)( 03/08) 3 to 5 inches of snow forecasted in the area. Tuesday Night it is expected to get worse with another 5 to 7 inches of snow and temps to drop down to 9F.

Just an up-date on the Eagles and the one egg. If every thing is ok, the egg should be hatching in the next couple days.
As I mentioned in the above post, March 8th was a tough day/nite for the eagles and their egg. The area got about a foot of snow with temps dropping down to 9F, with wind chill well below Zero. Here is a 'snap shot' i grabbed before the sun set.
I did check the nest the next morning (about 9:00 A.M) and found no 'parent' sitting on the egg for over 30 minutes .. Temp at the time was 10F with high winds, and still snowing. (At the time I thought that was the end of that), But the Eagles returned and all seems ok.
Here is a picture I 'grabbed' April 2nd of both parents at the nest

Excellent news MacRane, thanks for the update and congrats to the proud parents
I peeked in on them the other day and snapped this when mom had stepped away as it looked like the egg was starting to crack, but I wasn't sure.. I guess it had!
The peregrine chicks haven't made their debut yet, but viewers on their BBS report mom & dad appear very restless today, so maybe they're on their way out too.

Yes McRane, thanks for keeping up on this one. I looked in last about a week ago. Here is a live cam following a barn owl nest.
A recent view.

Here are a whole bunch of links, including many active webcams from The Canadian Peregrine Foundation.
