There are lots of examples of prismatic columns on earth. It's called columnar basalt.

Shuvman, that's all that extrasense does is post nonsense on this bbs and any others out there that are space or science related. The guy is not a subscriber to Keyhole, the only reason he's a registered member of our Community is because it's just another place to post his crap and bring attention to his mediocre webpage. If you want to spend a couple of hours reading his rants, and it's good for some laughs too, Google his screen name and go to the various websites that he's infiltrated, that is the ones that haven't banned and purged him, yet.
