but I don't see one for this theory as reported by BBC News last June.

According Dr. Rainer W. Kühne (University of Wuppertal, Germany) working on a theory proposed by Werner Wickboldt, the lost city could have been in a salt marsh region known as Marisma de Hinojos on the southern Spanish coast, in an area destroyed by a flood between 800 BC and 500 BC.

They believe satellite photos show the two temple sites amid a series of concentric rings and other geographic features as described by Plato in Critias and Timaios.



I placed the overlay images in this folder per a lengthy discussion by Dr. Kühne on this forum



Maybe it's true.

Similar patterns can be seen in the Bahamas, Florida, Cuba, Haiti, Caycos, Belize (the Caribbean), and North Carolina.

Satellite Discoveries Image Research- Strange Patterns and Circular features

Many of the circular features near Florida and off the coast of NC are arranged in linear formations.

Could there be a connection between the patterned regions? What has caused the numerous patterns and circular features? I hope someday researchers will investigate the similarity between the patterns that cover the continental shelf regions of the Globe.
