On sea trials maybe? According to the layer date, this would be the Carnival Legend just before it was delivered to carnival cruise lines.
EDIT new image ship gone.

Floating palaces docked in Vancouver, British Columbia. Any others?
The top one is a Holland America "S" Class Ship. So she could be the Statendam, Maasdam, Ryndam, or Veendam.
My guess is Veendam.
The bottom and larger one is one of the Celebrity Millenium class ships. So it could be the Millenium, Infinity, Summit, or Constellation.
My guess is Summit, she is usually doing Alaskan cruises.

Cosy Sisters At Fort Lauderdale. Possibly Norwegian, but can't get a make yet. Any ideas?
There are zero NCL ships docking in Port Everglades. That is a Princess Ship, if you look close you can see the Princess logo on the smokestack. That is a Sun Class, so it is either the Sun Princess, Dawn Princess, or Sea Princess. Don't go by the Princess website, Coral and Island are NOT sisters to the Sun Class. It's a shame when they don't even know their own ships.
The Sea has never been to Port Everglades so you have a 50/50 chance and my money is on Dawn Princess. 856feet long 106feet across the beam and passenger capacity of 1,950 (those are from memory so I could be wrong).
Dawn Princess Fun Fact: Typically females get the honor of comissioning a new cruise ship, Princess made an exception to the rule to let Fabio do the honors. Fabio was onboard when the ship made her maiden departure from Port Everglades, he waved at us as we went by and women on the back deck fainted. It was a moment to remember (hah).

The other ship docked perpendicular off the stern of the Princess ship is the OceanBreeze, formerly Southern Cross.
Imperial Majesty cruise line would have had to spend too much money to get the OceanBreeze up to current SOLAS standards so they took her out of service, my guess is that she has been scrapped by now.
Talk about a groundbreaking ship with a history. Built in 1954, comissioned by (a very young) Queen Elizabeth II, built by Harland & Wolff, Ltd. in Belfast, Ireland, same place that launched the ill fated Titanic. She originally ran a route from Southhampton to South Africa and to take advantage of the favorable weather conditions, they moved machinery to the aft most part of the ship and positioned the funnel as far back as possible to add a huge sun deck in the middle of the ship. The pilothouse was positioned almost amidships which made room for another sun deck directly in front of the wheelhouse. This was genius from a crew's perspective as the watchstanders could now stare at the bathing beauties while driving the ship. Maybe not such a good idea from a safety standpoint. This was also the world's first Cruise Only ship as she made no provisions to carry cargo on board.

This is truly a Ghost Ship as she is now scrap metal. At least with GE I get to look at the grand lady one more time.

Here's an impressive boat near Los Angeles. I have no idea what her name might be. Don't have her number either.
Whoah! I have been looking for the World's Most Famous Ocean Liner and there she is. I haven't seen her in person since she left Port Everglades for the final time just last year.
This would be the Queen Elizabeth 2.
Thank you for finding her for!
Someone made a comment about the QM2 why they used the giant number 2 all over the outside of the ship. They then asked wouldn't it be more dignified to use a Roman Numeral II instead. I told this person they can't use a Roman Numeral as that is reserved for a person, in this case a monarch. Queen Elizabeth II is the reigning monarch of the UK, so the ship is called QE2.

The one closest to Intrepid is likely the Norwegian Dawn

Can anyone identify this one?
She's a fair bit larger than most (Except maybe the RCCL Voyager Class), and one of the few I've found not docked somewhere.
If the measureing device it to be trusted, she's about 950 feet long x 150 feet wide.

That would be the Caribbean Princess. She is one of the Grand Class ships for Princess, with major differences. She has one extra deck to increase her passenger capacity from 2,600 to 3,100. Her topside spaces were opened to the sun as this ship will never cruise Alaska. The decor is true to her name, very tropical in nature. I have never seen the Princess Cays in person, but I am guessing that is where the Caribbean is anchored in the placemark. Caribbean does year round 7 day cruises from Fort Lauderdale, 3 ports of call- St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Princess Cays.
If you check her bridgecam, she is enroute to Princess Cays right now! http://www.princess.com/bridgecams/caribbean_bridge_cam.html
This ship has the largest TV afloat. 300 Square Feet of TV.

When I pass her in Fort Lauderdale, even in the bright sunlight I can still see Finding Nemo on the big screen.

RCCL's private island, CoCo Key on the left and NCL's island on the right. And they both have a ship in port!
