"Flatiron" Building, New York City, NY

At 285 feet (87 meters) in height the so-called "Flatiron" building was the first skyscraper in New York City in 1902. It is located at Fifth Avenue between E. 22nd Street and E. 23rd Street. This icon was designed by Daniel H. Burnham in the Chicago Early Modern style of Louis Sullivan, the mentor of Frank Lloyd Wright.
