Yes, it is. Actually, the misalignment hits the whole greenish low-res-rectangle, up to the Weser river (which would never ever deliver a single drop of water to the North Sea if it really followed those imagery^^), so about 1.5 million people are screwed.
This unfortunate situation already exists since Germany became its high-res update last year. I REALLY hope this gets fixed soon. I think I can see some improvement around Höxter, lets hope that repair work widens.

Megalous and obrian,
The entire area which I have called Bielefeld-Paderborn (because they are the largest towns in the area) is still misaligned. It is about 70 kilometers wide by 50 kilometers tall. The region is misaligned about 5.1 kilometers in the south by southwest direction. The eastern and northern parts of the area have fuzzy mixtures of both the good and bad images.
It is part of the basic TerraMetrics low-resolution background imagery which was introduced in the March-April 2006 image updates.
If TerraMetrics does not fix it, Google could overlay it with higher-resolution images from another vendor.

I just did a download of version 38 and didn't see any of JFK marked. The thread doesn't seem to mention it either. I was caught very off guard by this.
The censored area is ONLY on the southeastern corner of the airport. It's easily seen as it's a different image or just heavily discolored. It is ONLY the airport area that's censored too. You can trace up runway 22L to almost halfway and it's as clear as anything else and then splat! What is there that the NY folks find so sensitive but is NOT around the rest of the airport?
So bizarre.

The Pitcairn Island photograph doesn't seem to be in its best quality, looks kind of blurred, and can only best be seen from high up.

Munden, You're absolutely correct about JFK airport. It has been added to the Censorship posting. Thanks for a good catch.

There are lots of blurred and shakey areas in the siouthern part of Norway, from Kristiansand and to the west, east (except for a band from DigitalGlobe, which are less blurred, but with quite desaturated colors) and north. Ihave been in contact with some the official area planners in the area, and they want to provide their own, much better ortho photos (aerial). The problem is that they don't know where to go to get them into the official GE database. Any tips?

I wouls suggest your local Google office. If that is not practical, try posting in the Open Forum.

Hi,
I have noticed a place name error (wrong city name). I have checked the list of place names, and this error doesn't seem to be on the list. However, I'm not sure whether I should post this error here, or whether there is some "central place" to report these kinds of errors to?
Anyway, the error is this: In Denmark (Europe), the town Vojens (<coordinates>9.303444000000001,55.245682,0</coordinates>, 55D13M19.18S N, 9D18M08.77S E) is named Over Jerstal.
Over Jerstal is actually located a few kilometres south of Vojens at 55D11M48.34S N, 9D18M05.04S E.
Around a year ago this problem wasn't present, so it seems that it has appeared with a data update.
