There is a missing hi-res image in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The image shows a part of Furnas Lake, Capitólio and Guapé municipalities.

The area you placemarked is indeed in low resolution, but that is not a data error. It just signifies that Google places high resolution images on the globe when they obtain the rights to such data. Because of the complexity of getting good imagery and obtaining publication rights, they do not publish a schedule of what will be added, nor when.

A good discovery, especially for a first post, arriving ahead of some of the "old hands" who scour new image areas assiduously.
It is doubtful that it represents censorshp, so it has been added to the list of "Missing Images" in THIS POSTING.

I did check the whole region and I found out that this is not the only lo resolution image. I thought it was an error as all images around this particular image are hi res.
