emuesch,

Phi Phi Don is gone, but not forgotten. If you download the "Borders & Coastlines" for southeast Asia in THIS POSTING you'll see that the outlines of lots of newly missing islands are still visible, just no images.

The recent high-res patches of the city of Salvador, Brazil, are also misaligned by 90m. Just to let you know and add to the list.

Just looking through the "Missing Images v 7" file, and in paticular the "Canada Missing Image 1" placemark - and did you notice that the Live Local version is a cut and paste jobby? The rectangle missing on GE is missing there too, but they have cut out and duplicated an equal size rectangle from pretty much directly below (IE south). Now thats odd!

I've searched as much as possible before deciding to report this one. But, with my luck, it is already known. If so, sorry about that.

Notice that at the bottom of the greyed-out area, near the southeast corner, some sort of structure is visible. A mobile launcher?

I hope they fix the Costa Rica map soon because I used it often in real estate speculation and it has really gotten messed up after the recent update.

Add another blurred-out area for China? [Re: PriceCollins]

PriceCollins, please let me know whether this is one of the two places you have listed for China. As far as I can tell it isn't

This one is a blurred-out area; no grey. Despite the lack of detail it is very data intensive; it takes a long time to download.

There is a lot of military activity to the west, and the Chinese space launchpad is to the north.

I do not know if this is coververed by the bielefeld-paderborn case, but in herford the high- and lowres versions are blended together. It impossible to see the southern part of the city.
