There has been a shift in the terrain reading for the elevation in at least in the Middle East area . The shift is approximatly 120m north and it happened about a month ago where ther readings reflected the exact topography with some errors in the elevation data which is normal. The shift happened in the positioning (i.e. you can find the reading of the elevation of a top of a hill away by 120m North).
It seem that some adjustments happened in August led this shift ??!!

I've found a mysterious instance of censorship (?) in Lexington, KY. There are two houses that are blurred out. Everything around these two houses is available in high-resolution, and the two houses are visible in Live Local. Does anybody know why this might be censored?

Each of your observations is correct about the two houses in suburban Lexington, Kentucky.
The source of the high-resolution images is not stated with a copyright. Thus, state security influence is unclear, unlike New York State.
So, I am looking for further information before calling it censorship or a missing image (the underlying area is rectangular).

GE SHOULD PLACE THE NAMES EXACTLY AS THE COMMUNITY WRITES THEM WHEN SHE COLLABORATES, IN SPANISH IS IMPORTANT THE SPELLING OF PROPER NAMES, WHEN I WRITE A POST THE NAMES APPEAR WITH STRANGE CHARACTERS WHEN THEY ARE PUBLISHED. IS OFFICIAL LANGUAGE ENGLISH FOR ALL THE COUNTRIES? THEN I WILL PUT TO CORRECT ALL MY POST

This BBS lost its ability to correctly display UTF-8 characters sometime last week. I understand it will be fixed.
Your placemarks should still correctly display in the Google Earth application. Please confirm that is true.

I do see a border with just the 'stock' borders for GE but that only shows for a certain range of distances. Close-up; the border doesn't show.
I'll take a closer look at what you linked.

I think this is brand new imagery in the Netherlands. I've been eagerly awaiting seeing the ships, but much like the spot in Amsterdam, it's entirely mosaic-censored. Every last bit of it.
EDIT: Actually, EVERY military installation in the Netherlands is censored. It's an awesome update outside of that though!

Munden,
Censorship in the Netherlands is a growth industry. Your military installations have been added, along with many new air force bases, and another location in The Hague in THIS POSTING

There are hundreds of locations blurred in the Netherlands. You listed only a couple here.
I found several more sites and post them here for you to add to the list.
