This fuselage is mentioned in the placemark "balloon" with the two DC-3s. Perhaps it should have a placemark of its own to avoid confusion.

This DC-3 from the "Fantasy of Flight" museum near Orlando, FL has raised a protest from DC-3 fans, and fans of air museums in general. For the story see HERE
Picture and story from www.douglasdc3.com
This plane has now moved to the museum itself and has been reposted by Delta102 here.

Dc-3s have been placemarked on six of the seven continents. Have they ever been to Antarctica? The answer is yes. Here is a picture of the first airplane to land at the South Pole.
From www.douglasdc3.com Que Sera Sera landing as seen from the circling Globemaster.
Fitted with skis, they were among the first planes to land there. And turboprop versions still make the flight.
