Outstanding. In my searches for DC3s I've often visited airports where you might expect to see an airworthy DC3, but there's none on the tarmac. I've had many fruitless searches of the local area trying if she's flying around.
Nice one, Vyruss.

Hi, Hill.
Sorry about the dupes and the rogue on the last lot - I hope this batch is better organised. There are certainly a few nice ones.
Cheers
Frank
Most planes have moved or disappeared - placemark updated.

Hi, Hill
Only 3 this time. The one in Anchorage is very nice, though.
Cheers
Frank
One of the DC-3's has disappeared due to imagery changes and the Alaska plane is a C-46, it turns out. Placemarks updated.

Hi this one may be posted already but i don't see any tags near it. Boeing Field Seattle, at 47 30' 56.26"N, 122 17' 33.58"W there is a wingless a/c that looks to be a DC3. Its just SE of the B-29.
Sorry but im still trying to figure out how to post the tag

Seems i have alot of free time today or it just could be my love of classic aircraft that keeps me going. But here are another 2 DC3s i found at Denton Manicipal Airport.
I've attached one the other is just north and a bit to the right in the next parking bay.
And for those interested i found a MiG 15/17/19 (im not sure), Starfighter and what looks like a F-105 at Addison Airport SE of this location I think its either someones collection or a museum????

I never did find this one.
What you need to do is spend some time here to learn about making and saving and posting placemarks. As the saying goes. "A picture is worth 1000 words" Making placemarks is easy to learn and well worth the effort. And welcome.
