I'm collecting placemarks for various major football stadiums around the world. This list will be updated as I go. Here is list of what I have added so far:
(List removed. Too numerous to mention! Anyone know of any way to parse info from google earth straight to post, let us know!)
Featured stadiums:
- Most English Premier League stadiums, including some Championship grounds.
- Most major Primera Liga stadiums.
- Most major Italian League stadiums.
- World Cup 2002 Stadiums (all done by djsaunders).
- French, German, Portuguese and Scottish major stadiums.
- Major South American stadiums.
- Other major European grounds including Landsowne Road, Ali Sami Yen, etc.
Some placemarks feature stadiums in areas with no detail. The best one I've seen so far is the San Bernabeu, where if you get in real close you can actually see the words "Real Madrid CF" painted on the seats.

Update 1
Added more stadiums, changed placemark logos to appropriate footballer logo. Sorted all stadiums alphabetically, though not according to their geographic location.

Added more stadiums, incorporated many more courtesy of djsaunders. further input from corky (thanks again. ewood park, jjb and reebok stadium were almost impossible to find due to lack of detail and their size  ) Incorporation of djsaunders' massive list with mine also used djsaunders' folder structure, so it's all nicely organized according to league/geographical location. Football fans enjoy..

Hi,
the placemark for FC Barcelona's stadium, Nou Camp, is wrong. It points to "Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys", Olympic Stadium for Barcelona '92 Olympics, and current home for RCE Espanyol of spanish Liga, 1 Division (finish 5th in 04-05 season).
Attached is the right placemark for Nou Camp.
