I know this is pretty small beer military wise compared to some of the stuff here but if anyone is interested in Belfast and Northern Irelands "troubles" if you go up the ardoyne rd out of belfast you can see a whole line of army landrovers and saxons( heavy armoured vehicles) parked up. The ardoyne is a particulary violent piece of belfast and has seen much rioting and murders. I am guessing on this occasion they were here for the Holy Cross dispute, a sad episode were prods and catholics could not agree and what road to use to take children to thier respective schools and ended in a whole summer of rioting. I know you couldnt make it up!
