Hi!
Denmark has had initial 4 Hwakbatteris, than 8 Hawk Batteries max, later reduced to 6.
These batteries were located on old Nike sites and near Airstations. But they are hard to spot
quote: The Danish Airforce used the ressources of the dismantled Nike units to form a second HAWK wing in the western part of the country (Luftvaernafdeling Vest with HQ and DSU at Karup). The four missile squadrons continued the numbers 531 to 534 of the old NIKE wing. Two batteries of the new HAWK Wing West were deployed at Odense-Hjorup on the isle of Fyn and one battery each was placed at Karup AFB and Skrydstrup AFB on Jutland.

Hey there I been looking at the spots you picked out I Denmark No1 Is the Hawk battery “Middelgrundsfortet” just right to our capital Copenhagen, this is an old fort constructed in 1890-95 and was taken out of use by the army in 1984 and is now a tourist attraction. You can visit the website http://www.aok.dk/profile?fid=9&id=7978 for more info (in Danish) No2 is the Nike (where ever that is) I’m pretty sure it is just a normal farm called Selested Mose, if you want to look it up visit http://www.krak.dk and type in “gunderødvej” in the textbox “Hvor” then find no15 on the list of residents at the road “gunderødvej” when you get a map press the bottom “luftfoto” then you should be able to se a farm called “Pilegård” the thing you call a Nike is just northwest of there. I could be wrong but I don’t think that the farmer at this farm has anything to do with missiles or what so ever, but then again I could be wrong. No3 is the Hawk battery Copenhagen, actually Copenhagen is our capital, and it is a little north the your Hawk battery, the place you found is called “Søvang” it is the name of the small town (with somewhere around 1500 inhabitants) just east to this Hawk battery. But ones again you found a farm, you can look it up if you like, same website as before this time you type in “Landmand Jan C Zibrandtsen” in the textbox “Hvad” just so that you know it “Jan C Zibrandtsen” is the farmer that lives here I know this because “Landmand” means “farmer” in Danish. But I will give you this, between the city Søvang and the farm just west of the little forest where you can see that the landscape is shaped as stripes with something that looks like concrete walls in each end, this is actually a shooting range. If you use the website that I told you about earlier and use the bottom “Kombinationskort” you can see that it is called “Skydebane” witch is the Danish word for shooting range. You can put that on your map, I won’t hold that against you. Further more I’m sorry to point out that NIKE it is not a missile we use in the Danish army anymore, we use Hercules. And the old Hawk missiles are now replaced with DEHawk. If you want to se REAL DEHawk missiles I found some at “Skalstrup airfield” but you cant use Googleearth because you cant zoom in, but if you use the earlier mentioned website and write “Vintermarken” in the textbox “Hvor” and pick one of the two possibilities by selecting “kort” and then select “Kombinationskort” now you click yourself a little north. Thene you will find “Skrydstrup” and in the southeast corner you see 6 grey dots, this is in fact DEHawks, the airstrip next to the military compound has nothing to do with the army, it is a civil airport. This my friends is the real thing. I’ve be living next to this airforcebase for 10 years, I should know.

Hi JesperExatec
Thank you for your information about the DeHawk and the other sites.
Regarding "Søvang" or whatever is the name of the small town, maybe that now the place is a farm but I'm sure that this was a Hawk site.
You can find similar sites if you type, in www.krak.dk, "Store Heddinge". Move to the east and on the coast, you'll find this. The place is called Tommestrup (not sure). If you'll follow the coast in the south direction you'll find another site near the town of Lille Heddinge
I'm also sure that the place near Pilegård is a Nike (Ajax and/or Hercules) launching area. In www.krak.dk if you click on n15 of the road “gunderødvej”, is a couple of clicks to the east. According to this page it was used by the Eskadriller 531 (NIKE) (here the place is called Gunderod?)
You can find another area like this, north of Store Heddinge, near Sigerslev.
Sometimes Nike launching areas have been transformed in Hawk sites like in this case (Roskilde-Skalstrup...?)
You can find another two DeHawk batteries: the first one south of the Karup airbase (Eskadrille 532, 533, 542) and the second one north of the Skrydstrup airbase (Eskadrille 534).
Informations, and a movie, about the DeHawk here Pics here

The Nuernberg community site is very interesting.
According to my information there was a US Hawk site in this area closed, geschlossen, in 1970 and turned into an ammunition depot or "Schwabach Basic Load Storage Area (BLASA)"
More, incomplete, informations in this page
