Good catch, those sites have changed with the new imagery update. I'll incorporate those changes into the database update this weekend, I've located a number of other new sites as well, particularly some S-300P and HQ-9 sites in China.

Hi!
Here are some more hints about Syria. This regards to two SA-2 and one SA-3 Site.
Moreover I think it is worthwhile to check SA-5 Site at Dumayr (pls see placemark) - I'm not quite sure but I think I can figure out 4 Batteries at this Site alone...pls have a look to these sites when you are preparing your update.

SA-5 NW of Vladivostok (low res, rammstein.dfmk.hu/~s200/photos/tavrichanka.jpg )
Ashuluk is high res now with >10 SAM sites piled next to each other

Got 'em, thanks. I'd already seen the Ashuluk stuff, pretty neat. Too bad you can't see the operational range area at Kapustin Yar yet. A new update will be posted soon, I'm checking a lot of old sites to see if their status has changed after rambo54's Syrian updates. Located a few new sites as well, and there's a lot more stuff in China now.

New update today. This time you'll see some new stuff in China, Russia, and a few other locations (mostly in Eastern Europe). Also, there have been a few updates to sites in Syria and Russia, where sites have either changed (from SA-2 to SA-3) or were able to be more accurately identified (from SA-5 to empty SA-5 site if higher resolution imagery was available).

With the new imagery update, I've reexamined Syria and added 15 new SA-2, SA-3, and SA-6 sites to the database.
