Big update. Added a whole bunch of SAM sites in Syria, Libya, and North Korea. Also added what I've got so far for China, and some new Russian sites.

This site is supposed to be a unranium enrichment facility in Iran... Looking around the site (all along the main road ecompassing the site)there are multiple similar structures but I can clearly recognize them...
I think this is an AA gun or SAM site of some kind... ????

I'm adding coordinates of only S-10/S-300, both S-5/S-200 sites in Czech Republic plus list of SA-2/S-75M sites and one missing SA-3/S-125 site near Brno CZ. This is not complete list of SA-2/3 sites for CZ, there are 5 sites near Ostrava and 19 sites near Praha. I'm not sure if we have active sites in CZ today. I added the SA-5 and the last SA-3 you listed (it is empty). The other ones aren't visible in the existing coverage...yet! I'll update the placemark file here shortly.

Being a noob to GE, I am wondering about how to go about eliminating duplicate entries automatically.
I have started organizing all this stuff according to US Combatant Command Areas of Resposibility (EUCOM, PACOM, CENTCOM, etc),
But seems like every time there's any sort of update (which I download) there are tons of duplicate entries added. I know that in the Mil Intel world we would catalog them and assign a unique identifier to each one...
Does GE allow mw to eliminate based on say duplicate label and identical coordinates?
Love all the SAM & SIGINT work. Anyone find any Kolchugas, Ramons, SWING BOXES, PAINTBOXES or other FSU SIGINT/EW systems?

If you look on the mountaintop somewhat WNW of Yalta in Crimea, Ukraine (sorry, no placemark handy), you'll find what is often mistaken for an astronomical observatory complex:
http://community.livejournal.com/foto_kpblm/81802.html
It turns out (to my surprise) that this is actually a PVO radar station for observing NATO ships and aircraft operating all over Turkey:
http://www.kpbim.ru/MeG-showpic-pid-978-orderby-dateA.html http://www.radioscanner.ru/forum/index.php?action=vthread&forum=4&topic=23153
Do you know anything about those radars? The last one is apparently a "19Zh6" centimeter-band radars.
I can't believe the size of the radomes they built to house those things... Why?! Does this site have a NATO codename?

I think I have that site placemarked as a radar facility in this file:
http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showthreaded.php/Cat/0/Number/392284/page/
Is that the site you're talking about?

That's the one. Whoops - I stopped paying attention to the updates of that file and started making my own, when you didn't mark my hard-researched shooting range.
There's apparently another such radar site near Feodosiya, but there's only lo-res imagery there.

Maybe my posts in that thread were just getting overlooked?
http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showthreaded.php/Cat/0/Number/396063/page/0/vc/1 http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showthreaded.php/Cat/0/Number/395811/page/0/vc/1 http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showthreaded.php/Cat/0/Number/466158/page/0/vc/1
Note my "astronomical observatory" is wrong, the Simferopol power plant label should be a bit more south-east, and there are a few other things I've found since then, but I thought there would be something of interest for you in there, especially the hilltop S-300 search radar position. I've only seen it there about twice.
One of my favourite places in the world!

Check 45`02'34" N, 36`13'37" E.
This is the Cape Opuk S-300 (SA-10) site. It was used in October 2001 to test SA-2, SA-3, SA-5 and SA-10 SAMs, during the course of which a Tupolev airliner was accidentally shot down by an SA-5 over the Black Sea.

Two SAM sites in Egypt. I don't know what the second one is (EDIT: SA-2, see Analogman's post). It appears to have two-rail launchers, but looks different from the other SA-3 sites.
(Just in case you didn't notice, there's an unmarked SA-3 (?) site at 30.085, 31.423 posted by Adamspace earlier.)

The site marked with the ? is an SA-2 site. The shadow of the launcher might make it appear to be a two armed launcher but it is, indeed, a single-rail SA-2.
When viewed from overhead, the two-rail SA-3 launcher resembles a grasshopper whilst the four-rail version looks like a stubby dinner fork.
The northernmost of the two sites is an SA-3 site. You can clearly see the twin-arm launchers and you can even see a missile transporter backed up to the launcher in the 4 o'clock position, in the process of moving missiles either on to or off of the launcher.
