I don't know if you will like this as much as I do, but give it a look. Just outside of Mojave, CA. Turn on "Terrain" and look around, Tilt... Rotate... The Mojave Airport and Edwards AFB are in the same general area.

So what's with the street grid just north of there (on the flat)?
Looks like whole suburbs laid out in the desert, and nary a building on it.

That would be the area known as "Reefer City"

Long abandoned but in the early 1900's it was populated by railroad and mine workers, many of whom utilized old railroad refrigerated boxcars (reefers) as makeshift housing.

Im not able to open must of your placemarks. Are they not compatible with GE4 Beta?

Two items...

I have updated the format from the old Keyhole ETA, to the new GE4 KMZ.

Also the new imagery is a higher resolution, and with a color loss.

There is a big grassland on the south, and look like a baseball pitch in the middle of the grassland
