Info on shipwreck #733

It is the El Canuelo, a 200 foot liquid fuel oil barge and has been aground since 1976.

Cant find info about the El Canuelo, but about the Princess I and the landingcraft I found pictures..

Here's a find I made while marking tunneling sites used for nuclear weapons testing by Russia on Novaya Zemlya. Speculation would suggest the vessel may have been used in support of these operations, perhaps as a transport for the heavy mining equipment needed to excavate the tunnels used for tests.

Dat wat je daar ziet is de mottenballenfloot van Amerika.
Dat zijn dus geen wrakken, maar nog goed werkende schepen in opslag.
Er zijn nog een paar plaatsen waar ze liggen,
dus,,, vandaar, niet in de collectie.
evengoed bedankt.

The 'shipwreck' labeled 353 is not a shipwreck. It's a LST 542 class landing craft there to service a military base. They're designed to work in shallow water.
