Quick question:
Why isn't the U.S.S. Arizona on the VSC list?

Hi Gonzo,
A question asked before,, by JLHenry62. see my answer . This ship is more famous then the VSC, so I thought, it dont need in the collection, and your post here confirm that. There are so many placemarks there, and if you open them, so much information, What do I have to add more, ? Most inportant is,, (and you show it again), this ship is not forgetten. Maybe I should make a folder "famous shipwrecks", who knows.
Thanks for you post, and greetings

Here are 4 beached ships sinking into the sand and seabed on the point just across the bay from Al Kuwayt City. I do not see your logo so I am guessing these might not be in the list yet.
There appears to be an oil fired power gen plant just to the south.

I have identified two of the half-sunken ships at the Urban Blight ship graveyard. They are PC-461 class submarine chasers, mass produced during WWII. NavSource has a photo of the yard from 1990 when the ships were in a better shape. The three ships to the east of PC-1264 look like LCI-351 class infantry landing crafts, also from WWII. (They are better visible in the NavSource picture than in GE).
