Actually I do not count the shipwrecks, the number system is only to find a placemark in case of a update.
In the area you have looked, there are so many wrecks, you will find them anyway. for example, placemark 289, (Africa folder) there are around the 60 wrecks, but I add one placemark.
anyway. I used 3 of your collection for the VSC.
And thank you for pointing me on the post from damikacha, I missed this one,

Here are a couple more for you. At first I thought they may not count but I note you have recently added small boats also. 
By the way, have you see this one guy's logo?  I reckon if you just follow him around you should find plenty!

to be part of this monumental global effort,
Yes small boats,, and at the end we do toy boats,, so ask Google for very, very good res. images, heamit, and start hunting.
The logo is great,, but not complete.
Ther are submarines, targets, and wrecks,,,,,,,,,,,

First post for me...woo hoo.
I love this place, the shipwrecks are so cool. I am familiar with the area and I wanted to see the Maritime college in New York. Was I shocked to find a ghost ship there

Hallo AuraXR, welcome to Google Earth.
Yes, ghost ships, you found many more in the waters around New York,
Its because they used differend images for the open water then for theshore/coast line.
if you go south of your placemark, the other side of the water, you see ghost jettys, go to the left there, much more ghost images.
spooky place
So,, its not a wreck.
