I have tried installing both GEv3 and the Beta v4. I have the same problem with both. When the image loads, there are sporadic lines all over the image. They change whenever the pointer is moved. I have confirmed that my system meets/exceedes the minimum system requirements for processor, memory, and disc space. My computer is a 1.2GHz Pentium 3 w/ 512MB RAM so I'm sure the graphics card is adequate.
I have searched the forum and didn't find anything. I have taken a screenshot of the image...

It is from the Beta v4 but v3 does the same thing. Help!

It appears there is something that is causing the "Borders" layer to mess everything up. With all other layers off, if I turn on International Borders, I get the problem. If I turn on Coastlines, I get the problem. If I turn on State Borders, I don't get the problem until I zoom in close enough for GE to display them, then boom!

G'Day scb, If you click on the THIS POST link that The Ledge has posted it will take you to a couple of previous posts that describe the same problem. It is all about ATI Radeon Mobility graphics cards problems being fixed with the Omega Drivers that Tek Mentioned in his reply. It's the only fix that has been found to be successful so far ! Our guess is that your graphics card is one of these little ATI culprits.
CLICK HERE to see the GE help page about identifying and diagnosing your card.
