Greetings, this is my first post. I have been searching for Blackbirds on the ground and have collected 18 of them.
As far as I am aware the other remaining Blackbird aircraft are either destroyed/cannibalised or under cover in museums.
EDIT : Added a Ninth one. EDIT : Added a tenth one EDIT : Got twelve now thanks to Renegade EDIT : Got thirteen thanks to Criper2000 EDIT : Added another three thanks to Hill and af_mmolina EDIT : thanks to esterrett for finding another 2

Thanks, I did a search for blackbird but I think I will have to brush up on my search technique. I was only searching topics newer than one week. I will check out the others.
EDIT: Added a ninth one.

Also you might want to turn on "Layers" Keyhole BBS Layer

I'm surprised no one has rated this one yet. Effort expended should be rewarded (most excellent AND interesting first post).

Thanks Renegade,
I have added your two to the collection. We now have twelve blackbirds in the kmz file.
I can't stop whistling 4 and 20 Blackbirds baked in a pie.

Welcome to the BBS, criper! The easiest way to post a location is to create a placemark at the location describing the object (use the "pushpin" icon on Google Earth), then right click on it and do a "save as". This will save a .kmz attachement, which you can then add to your post (the BBS will let you add an attachment when you preview the post). This is much simpler for everyone than just posting lat/long coordinates.
Before you add a new placemark, though, you'll want to turn on the Keyhole Community BBS layer (in the layers menu, bottom left) which will show you any existing placemarks at the location.
