Dont know why I am so interested in the Great White North tonight. I found this weird missing piece of map that seems to have been photoshoped with the spray paint tool to make it less noticable.

Interesting, it really does kind of look like a band-aid. Maybe it's some of that space debris getting in the way of the picture. Think any astronauts lost a band-aid up there?

Looks like there's another missing piece a little southwest of your giant band-aid too... 'cept this one doesn't even have airbrushing yet... it's just a black bar of nothingness lol

HIgh resolution bandaid at lat, lon 18.6865, 12.955,
I'm a newbie who hasn't figured out how to attach the
"View in Google Maps" icon that takes you directly to this
location, which is in the Sahara Desert of Niger.

Zoom in really close and you will see a rectangle showing great detail. This is part of a layer called Africa Megaflyover (Layers>Gallery>National Geographic Magazine>Africa Megaflyover) Click on the little red airplane icon for much more information.
