If you are looking at my earlier posts, from 2003, the versions of the Viewer have changed. In the beginning there was a void, then there was version 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, and then we jumped up to version 2.x. 2.x is what you have. So some of the early posts may not seem to match the viewer we all have now. However, all of the placemarks and overlays should work. The internals are just a little different as are the controls for the viewer. I hope that helps. Also, the different varieties of the viewer will all display both placemarks and overlays. This includes EC, Pro, NV, and LT, both paid and trial versions.
You're Awesome Lrae! Hope I get to be as good at this as you are one day. Thanks for being a good teacher! We newlings appreciate all the help we can get even. I have read the manual and am still a little overwhelmed. Practice makes perfect!
