Bunker Museum WN2000
The Stichting WN2000 (WN2000 Foundation) is dedicated to maintain and preserve the fortifications of IJmuiden.
The name of the foundation is a contraction of 'WN' and '2000'.
WN is the abbreviation of the German word for stronghold (Widerstandsnest), which was followed by a number. 2000 was the year that the WN2000 was founded. One of our aims is to get our own stronghold in Festung IJmuiden.
Our Exposition bunkers will be our stronghold. Presently we are putting a lot of effort to achieve this.
