I used to have KeyholeNV then upgraded to GE+. The upgrade has removed the placemarks for Mars, so if I switch to the Mars database I get my Earth placemarks. In addition, although all the Mars Overlays (layers) are turned on none of them display. Where can I get the current placemarks for Mars?

Hello,
I have purchased the Google Earth Plus and would like to view Mars. How do I go about that? I don't see anything where I can select Mars.
Thanks,

Please read the first post in this thread. Click Here! That post has an old date, but you will see that PenguinOpus has revised it only last week. It will answer your question!!

Hi guys
As a usability consultant, I have a rule of thumb that when people keep on asking the same question over and over again, it's usually because the answer is too complex or assumes too much information to be helpful.
So can I try to break this down to the basic information that everyone (and now myself) seems to be trying to find out?
Scenario I am a new user who has just downloaded Google Earth, installed it, and has been wowwed out of the solar system by the earth exploration opportunities. Having heard about the Mars viewer, I would now like to get this functionality onto my PC pronto so that I can spend the weekend salivating over martian landscapes.
Now.
1. What do I need to download and install? 1.7.2 NV? 2. Does it cost anything? 3. Do I need to buy Google Earth Plus before it will work? 4. Will 1.7.2 install over Google Earth, losing my My Places and search history? 5. If so, can I back these up? 6. Is there anything else a newbie like me should know before completing this procedure? 7. What is the URL which will lead me to the link I need to click to download the Mars viewing component?
Thanks

EDITED .....Could'nt one of you guys just say,
No, we cannot do it at this time, but hope to have it in the future.
I was trying to figure this out and finally reread the first post where it says on the bottom that it cannot be done now.
