Quite simply, not all countries allow the same freedom to sunbathe nude as yours apparently does. For those of us in countries that restrict nude sunbathing to specific beaches, this could be a valuable source of information -- both for those in that country, as well as for those just visiting...

Haulover is a blast, and it is "clothing optional" which allows people to adjust to taking things off slowly. Word to the wise, the first time you go to a clothing optional beach, put sunblock on posterior regions. I couldn't sit down for a week after that because of sunburn.

This beach is located at the Armação dos Búzios city, Rio de Janeiro state, Brasil. You must walk through a hill to reach it. The path begins at Praia Brava (Angry Beach).

Well, I know that some countries are mor restrictive in this case.
But I wanted to tell you, that this forum is international and if somebody wants to know about nude bathing beaches in USA, he should tell us.
If he simply asks about nude swimming ( or bathing?) beaches, he should write his questions down that way.
Lots of states allow nude swimming and sunbathing (exspecially the scandinavian states and the states around the baltic sea).
As long as the beaches are not declared as textil beaches (by trafficsigns) they are free for textil and nude swimmers.
Most times it is normal that nudes and textils are at the beaches at the same times and nobody cares.
I please you, to understand my first message in this way.

Look for the faint diagonal lines on the beach, slightly ABOVE and BELOW the placemark. This is the shadow of a small wooden fence that separates the clothing optional section from the rest of the beach. This fence is only a few feet tall, but it's clearly visible on Google Earth.

Germans are known for their willingness to wear little or no clothes on beaches worldwide. Whether it be a cute topless German babe or (more usually) a gigantic, fat, bald German man with hair on his back in a thong speed-o.
If "normal" is the same thing as "what most people do", then it is Germans who are strange, not the rest of us.

The biggest in Europe (4.000 beds), and the European Capital of Libertinism.
(Rem: the approximate limit is very imprecise: actually the beach is used by naturists far after the north east limit indicated.)

A list of naturist beaches in France can be found at http://perso.wanadoo.fr/plagenat/index_net.htm. French reader will notice that the comments of the webmaster of the site on Cap d'Agde are very, hum, critics (here). For those who do not read French, a look at the map offered (here) will help: it's enough to know that "zone" means "area", and "obsédés" means "sex maniacs"!
But for libertins it's the paradize...
