Hi,
Is anyone aware of any areas in Belize, where either topless sunbathing or nude sunbathing is either tolerated or permitted. My wife and I are travelling to Belize for a holiday in January '07.

The image on the left overlooks the south half of Devil's slide beach at sunset, the center image is taken from the cliff above Devil's slide beach looking toward the Little Devil's Slide Military Reservation to the north, and the image on the right shows the waves crashing onto Devil's Slide Beach.

Going naked on beaches in Belize is illegal. The locals frown upon it and you can be prosecuted for indecent exposure.
If you do it on private property then that is allowed in certain circumstances

In Melbourne, you have a choice of this and Campbells Cove, which you should never go to. Maybe Somers beach if you like travelling...

proudindiv is right...and not right...Wreck Beach is actually a string of beaches that stretches from the breakwater (proudinva's kml) and wraps all around the UBC endowment lands to Arcadia Beach. The entire stretch is clothing optional. You can see, if you zoom in on proudindiv's kml the section of Wreck Beach, that this is the "main" Wreck Beach known by most and accessed by the 400-some-odd stairs of trail 6.

Croatia offers a variety of naturists beaches and accomodations.
Valata (http://www.valalta.hr) is one of the most famous naturists resort on the istrian peninsula.

Summers and Rooster Rock are like peas and carrots; they just go together. Three miles of sandy beaches bring out the crowds. One of the largest swimming areas near Portland serves visitors who want a natural experience. It's even more natural the farther east you go at Rooster Rock (where you?ll find one of Oregon?s two designated nude beaches). By design, the nude beach area is completely separate and not visible from the clothing-required area of the large park. The two areas coexist in harmony.
