Gerardo,
Merci Bookoo ....
the time aspect was intended during the initial build of the model, I am happy that Google has it implimented now.
some of timing stages should stay on a bit longer , will add in more movement for the train, (backing in / pulling out .
Last eve it dawned on me the Panama Canal model would look good with the ships animated going through the locks.
Todays responsibilities: finish covering the boat cut fire wood school course work start pulling the dock out of the water before ice season change the van oil rotate the tires map out last weeks inspections
geesh ..... , i can't wait to ge started .... or take a nap ..... it will all be there when i wake up, and more!

Hello svens,
I really like the network link annimation a lot and agree completly your view on camera movements etc.
It would be great to see the animation you created with network links in this thread.
I am sure viewers would gain great ideas from your work. If you elect to post it here don't hesitate to put credits in the kmz for you as creating the animation sequences through NL's
do not hesitate to copy and paste in additional model placemarks of the TM Rocket scaled larger at higher elevations for your camera views above earth. (the view you created zooming away from earth looks really cool, it put the viewer in the ship looking out the window, (more like strapped in with face against window during launch)
the soyuz rocket in flight is into 2 placemarks soyuz folder_tm , 1a &1b to show the corss section, 1a off = view of interior of rocket.
to be edited at a later date: * the yellow colors of the launch pad do not show up with NL's * the buildngs floating are from a GE terrain update * the orange lift arm was not exported from su with the train railcar (train pulling out has no lift arm on railcar) * I still need to locate fabrication bldg the rocket is built in and model it * add a placemark of railcar and rocket inside the bldg. * include train placemarks to show route to the launch pad from fab bldg.
if you have some free time, post it here so i can download it
Thanks Bunches !

UPDATE March 2008
To others this thread might seem a bit strange., but we contacted outside the forum.
I was impressed with JPWades Time Animated Soyuz launch;
I decided to rework the timespan-animated Soyuz Launch of JPWade into a networklink-animated Soyuz Launch.
I did this in a first attempt to prove that networklink animated features can offer more than Timespan animated features (even though the Timebar is a very handy controller), and therefor to argue it is worthwhile to create a relative path for the targetHref tag within the update tag of the networklinkcontrol tag.
The attached file contains a first (reload with a week or so for a better one) networklink animated soyuz launch. (clip)
As I upload it now, it's quite rough. The networklinks could be so much smaller (I keep on loading the same lookat), yet it gives an idea of the possible animation.

Thanks,
Here another one
The only problem is that in the latest GE version (nov 1st) has a problem with the inner-reference of the kmz wih the tags update and targetHref To play these LOCAL networklinked animations stick to 4.0.2091 (for now).
I stated the problem here , so if someone found a solution, please let me know.
