This is quite an old version of the database and has not been updated for some time. You'll find the latest copies here - these are updated daily. You might like to consider removing your placemark, since we can't afford too many duplicate placemarks! Never mind, there are plenty more out there, so keep hunting and keep posting. I see the previous marker posted on 9/11/05, so I guess I wasn't too awfully far behind the curve. However, there was no marker visible on the Keyhole Community BBS layer or the User Supplied Collections layer, so I assumed I was safe in posting. Now I'm trying to learn how to unpost a marker and can't seem to find instructions for that in the faq or elsewhere. Could you point me in the right direction? No problems - just right-click on your placemark and delete it. The go back to your post, open it and select edit, continue to the second page, check the box marked "Delete this file/placemark", then continue to send the post again, this time without the placemark. As for not seeing it in the BBS Layer, that only gets updated every 4-6 weeks, I'm told, so you can't really rely on it for up-to-date info. Best to use the files.
