Just five Handley Page Victor ‘V’ bombers remain, all in England.

This update of April 2008 includes two changes:

1. The Bruntingthorpe Victor has moved somewhat

2. The Duxford Victor has been moved inside.

See the Wikipedia Victor article here. There’s fine history here.

Thank you TOMBAL!
I was searching for that beautiful aircraft since a long time. Didn't know about that preserved aircraft at several locations. But the placemarks will help if one fine day High Res is acceptable to UK. Fortunately there is already one to watch. Best Regards

Did you understand that you can see the four Victors in GE lo-res if you click on the here word inside the four placemarks? Tom

Yep...but nevertheless to use any "aids" like "live local" or World Win instead of GE its much like watching the nature through spectacles...and high res on GE means to see "the naked truth without any aids" - any idea why "live local" provides e.g. high res of the submarine wharf at barrow and GE doesn't? thanks a lot

Good question! It applies to most of the UK. One may speculate:

1. GE won't pay the asking price for more UK hi-res.
2. GE think their servers can't cope with the demand if they provide more UK hi-res.
3. The British government have gone one step further that the Netherands government and have stopped more GE UK hi-res.

Any other thoughts anyone?
