U chu Liang in Bangkok is over the dusit thani hotel... While you're at it, the very next building, between u chu liang and the dusit thani is called the Abdulrahim place. The Embassy of Canada is there.

Nice work, but can please somebody explain why the small Island south of Phuket disappeared, befor there was Phi Phi, Raya Yai, Raya Noi and more. Now replaced on my Earth by full blue Water?

Just saw a website called www.thailandmanual.com . They've embedded each place mark right onto the webpage. For example, see the page at http://www.thailandmanual.com/html/rattanakosin_island.html .
Kind of convenient.

As an 'old hand' at this stuff, I'd like to request a "proofing" of my initial attempt at GE.

Over the past few days I have constructed a file of PATTAYA Places and a few of interest just north and south.

Could you view it and offer any advice?

View in Google Earth         View in Google Maps (3085 downloads)

Here is the fifth iteration of Pattaya Places.
I have grouped the entries into subfolders for easier browsing.
I think I've run out of steam.

Corrections or additions wll be entertained.

It appears as tho in the AUG 06 update something happened that dropped many of your THAI language postings.
I refer you to CHON BURI city and the mix of Thai lang postings there.

On my screen many appear as '?' where as last week there were all readable in Thai. For some reason ( a different font or script?) some of the Thai remains.

I really appreciate this Thailand placemarks. thank for the effort. one thing that puzzle me is how do the creator manage to pinpoint the exact location of various places in HAT YAI and create placemarks when the area are clearly in low-res and all landmarks are virutally impossible to see evem at the biggest zoom level. did i miss out on installing anything? an extra self-made layer with high-res images of the area?
