I manually deinstalled an older version of GE because I could not deinstall it automatically. Now every time I try to install (newest version) GE it only offers to modify, change or deinstall the existing version which of course doesn't exist anymore. I reinstalled WinInstaller. I cleaned the registry, I deleted any bit of google programs. At least I believe I did. Nontheless I can't install GE. Whatever offered option I choose the result is the same. No GE for me anymore. Anybody out there how can help me? I mailed to google but I only got an automated answer that I should look for help here. CLICK HERE to go to the Google Earth Help page regarding all things about installing/uninstalling, you may pick something up there. You mentioned a previous version, if it was an upgrade, ie Plus or Pro, you will have to have the license key and password of that account to modify any new installations. I fixed the installation problem by renaming the \program files\InstallShield Installation Information folder. Obviously there was information which I didn't delete. With an new empty \InstallShield Installation Information folder the installation was finally running. I copied the folders from the old \InstallShield Installation to the new one so that I won't run into trouble with other programs. Et voila GE is up and running.
