A number of people have placemarked Google HQ, but no-one seems to have noted the pool.

Here it is in its new 1" per pixel resolution.

Cheers

So I checked out the other thread, where is that pool with the Google Logo on the bottom? Looks to have been replaced by 2 smaller pools.

It's not in the current imagery urbanz, but if you search you can still find pictures of it. For example: Google Blogoscoped or Google Earth blog.

I have never realised that these pools are sooooo small. I would call this a big bathtub.

It's a pool which produces an adjustable current which the swimmer swims against so he can get a workout doing laps without all that bothersome turning after each lap. It's like a swimmer's treadmill. Here's an ad for a popular brand. Notice that even the lifeguard is working with a laptop.

A lifeguard for a bathtub! There's no end to life's dangers, eh?
