The Upper Green River Valley holds significant energy resources, and in recent years drilling activity has increased dramatically. This time simulation of drilling activites shows how quickly the landscape is changing, and reinforces the need for regulation, as the valley also provides critical range for wintering wildlife -- including elk, pronghorn, mule deer and sage grouse -- and is home to the longest big-game migration route in the lower 48 states. The valley now produces approximately $3 billion in natural gas each year and accounts for nearly a quarter of all Wyoming production.

This is an extraordinary series of videos and Google Earth displays. i cannot wait to utilize this in my college environmental science classes. I would love to see in the future the more antelope herd location information as a balance to the drilling operations. This would of course require tracking them well. As someone who's family used to own a ranch in Wyoming, Thanks.
