A nice modell of the temple of Chepmpeskopach (Csempeszkopács).
The temple was built in Roman age, in 13. century!

Szent Mihály templom (St. Michael church)
wikimage (hun)

St. Michael's Church in Csempeszkopacs is an outstanding memory of 13th-century country architecture. The nave and the shrine were built around 1250. This was the first construction period: the steeple was attached to the body of the church later. Bricks and tombstone fragments from Roman times were excavated from its brick walls supporting the allegation that a building of some sort had stood here as early as in Roman times.

The Romanesque state of the building can be reconstructed: its nave and semi-circular shaped shrine still corresponds to the state established in the mid-13th century. Its valuable artifacts date from the Baroque age: the wooden frame of the altarpiece contains the statue of St. Michael at its top. Istvan Dororffmeister painted the altarpiece depicting the Holy Trinity.
