Giant Objects

In another thread, " Small Isn't Small", Aladdin posted a neat ETA-1 of a GIANT cup. Jumble then found a neat image of "said" cup!

I subsequently posted an ETA-2 of a giant milk bottle, located in Montreal, Canada.

Apparently, there are more of these giant milk bottles around North America. They appear to be of the same vintage, around the mid 30s.

I then posted the ETA-3 of the giant Coke bottle I fondly remember in Las Vegas.

This got me to thinking, there must be many more giant objects to be found in the EV world. Sure enough, there is! Here are some that I found. There must be more, so please share any that you have found.

There are a couple of giant Coke bottles scattered around the US but this is the only other one that I could find. It's located in LA. In ETA-4, you can see the bottle in the top left hand side of the Coke building.

If you thought the GIANT Uniroyal tire was hot, check out this hot stove! It is billed as the world's largest stove. The stove is located at the Michigan State Fair in Detroit.

You need a giant ketchup bottle, after you make fries on a giant stove.

Billed as the "World's Largest Christmas Tree" (that certainly is debatable). Situated in Cypress Gardens, Florida.

You'll need something to put that Coke in..

Here's a few giant Coke cups, big enough to hold about 20 million cans.

The All Star Resorts at Walt Disney World is a treasure trove of giant objects.
Quote:

The five sports themes are: football, tennis, baseball, basketball and surfing. The two 3-story Touchdown buildings have “spectators” lining the railings of each floor with a giant football helmet (large enough to fit a 200-foot tall football player!) encasing the stairwells. The Center Court tennis-themed buildings have a giant tennis racquet that at 51 feet tall is actually large enough to cover an entire tennis court! The tennis balls attached to the balconies are just about 5 feet in diameter. At the Home Run Hotel, super-sized baseball icons such as bats, stadium lights and scoreboards help get visitors in the spirit of things. The giant Coke cup could hold more than 20 million 12-ounce cans of Coke. Huge pennants of various sports teams line the roof of the Hoops Hotel. The megaphone that covers the stairwell is 45 feet tall and the two whistles are 60 feet long and 20 feet high.

The 4-story football helments can also be seen in the attached placemark, just above the building with the Coke cups. The res isn't good enough to make out most of the other icons.

The Schutzstaffel (German for "Protective Squadron"), abbreviated SS, grew from a small paramilitary unit to an elite force that served as the Führer's "Praetorian Guard," the Nazi Party's "Shield Squadron" and a force with as much political influence as the regular German armed forces. Built upon the Nazi racial ideology, the SS, under Heinrich Himmler's command, was primarily responsible for the crimes against humanity perpetrated by the Nazis during the Second World War.

"We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded." Barack Obama - 10/30/2008

Here's a page with lots of vessels waiting to be Earth-viewed, including big milk bottles. Big milk bottles web page.

(I looked for a few without much luck - so you're still the milk-bottle king, 3-D!)

You may he seen this one in the World Series. I guess it's only fitting that they have a "Giant" coke bottle

I don't know if the "Giant Mitt" has ever caught one of Barry's home runs
