Google Earth Community: Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, updated

Updated model with modified side buildings and the entire back side more precisely representing the actual architecture of this magnificent building.

The building of Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is unique for both its architectural value and for its interesting history.

The first Estonian modern high building was built in 1966-1968, designed by Raine Karp et al. in International style. It is also kept as one of the 1960's best architectural achievements.

Since 1991 the building belongs to Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and has been renovated several times from 1994 to 2000. The most recent renovation took place in 1999 - 2000, when the dolomite exterior facade was changed to steel, windows were changed, main entrance was decorated with black granite, the floor with marble stone as well as other changes were made.

The building well represents Estonia, and the timeless value of good architecture.
