This is a collection of visible sundials and special in GE, at present 152, most of them with a groundlevel picture attached in the placemark. The collection is subdivided in high and low resolution folders, one folder "In Progress" and one extra folder for schoolyard sundials. There are 42 hig res-, 97 low res-, 3 schoolyard- and 10 "in progress" sundials in the placemark. New sundial finds will always be attached at the end of the folders.

Animations:
Summer solstice. The path of the shadow on the day of summer solstice (June 21st).
Winter solstice. The path of the shadow on the day of winter solstice (December 21st /22nd).
Equinox. The path of the shadow on the equinoxes (March 21st and September 23rd).

You cannot leave New Zealand out of your List.. 
Attached is a placemark of a Sundial in the Botanical Gardens here in Christchurch. I photographed it last year and was going to add it to my post Christchurch Historic Places but have not got round to updating it yet..
So add this one to your Folder and I will delete the Placemark from this post when you have.

I coudn't find an attachment here so I downloaded your placemark Christchurch Historic Places and I must say its a great job. I found the botanical gardens in Christchurch, I found a big circular thing, I found the gnome but no gnonom to identify the sundial. Can you please give me the coordinates?
Your placemark of Christchurch is fantastic. Its really interesting and a very nice layout-style inside the placemark.

Hi, I found this sundial on GE. The diameter is about 7 meters.
It is located in Neuhausen (Germany), very close to the Neuhausen training center of the THW (German federal agency for disaster relief): buildings are about 60 meters and the fake debris area is about 100 meters to the west of the sundial.
I don't know if the sundial belongs to the training center. But I'm attending a course there next week, so I probably will have the time to take a look and maybe a photo of the sundial.

Thank's for your interest, bud sadly I must say this seems not to be a sundial. The gnonom and his shaddow are not there, so I think this is just a compass rose at the schoolyard of the Friedrich-Schiller-Schule.

Thank you very much for presenting me this nice placemark of one of the three Jantar Mantar's. It's in the collection now, I only changed the title to "Sundial, Jaipur, India".
