This collection is dedicated to finding any types of fires in Google Earth. I've started the collection off, with a few nice ones I found just today on the boards. I'm sure that many of you know where some fires are, and if someone else posted them first, I'd be happy to see a link so I can add them to the collection.
Enjoy!

The collection is broken down like this: North America Building Fires Forest/Grassland Fires Other South America Building Fires Forest/Grassland Fires Other Europe Building Fires Forest/Grassland Fires Other Africa Building Fires Forest/Grassland Fires Other Asia Building Fires Forest/Grassland Fires Other Oceania Building Fires Forest/Grassland Fires Other

Updates: 8/2/07: I've made a small update and added 593 more fires to the collection. Most of them in Africa.

Hello AmericanXplorer13
A nice idea and very well done. I like the picture with the forest fire and the GE screenshots you made. It gives the right ambiance to the post. I tried to make a similiar picture with sundials but it did not take the same effect.
The file contains some very cool placemarks I have never seen before, for example the burning house in Wiesbaden. Thanks.

I've added a few new fires...
Current Stats: My collection just previously had 16 posts in 24 folders. (Funny how that works out! )
I have just added a total of 593 new fires bringing the total count to 609.
All of these new fires are from sasroodkapje's post of African fires.
Thanks everyone for all the support!
